36 days

I took this photo yesterday as I was driving away from the post office. The water flowing down the half-sphere side view mirror caught my eye. At first glance it looks like a sliced in half giant Christmas tree bulb that has been left too long.

If you look closely you can see my image reflected in the center of the ball as I took the photo. Rightfully so, it makes me look small in the big world.

This mirror is situated on a building where trucks pull out of loading docks. It allows drivers to see what is all around them so they don't back into traffic and cause an accident. On this day, the brightness of the snow and ice on the mirror enhance its duty as a guidepost. As we continue on this Lenten journey, continue moving forward and notice the guideposts along the way.

Until tomorrow,
Jerilyn
